Slayin

Slayin is an arcade game where you control a small warrior who has to face an endless horde of terrifying monsters on a small setting. It's a pretty common concept, but it offers a rather odd kind of gameplay.

Your hero is always moving with his sword pointing ahead, so any enemy that touches you immediately dies. The problem is that the scenario is really small, and there are enemies constantly coming from every side, so you have to move quickly, turn, and jump in order to kill them all before they kill you.

When you kill enemies, you also level up and get money. With that money you can buy new weapons, such as longswords and armors to reduce the damage inflicted by the monsters. You can also buy traditional roast chickens in order to regain your health.

As you advance in the game and level up, you'll meet new enemies and even some bosses. The minotaur and the little devil are just the first two of many other monsters that stand on your way.

Slayin is a simple and addictive arcade game, but it hides quite a lot more content than it seems at first sight. For instance, you can unlock new characters like the thief after you get to a certain level playing with the warrior.
